The first question is probably the most important one—how are you feeling after this longer break?

Good, good. I wouldn’t say it was a very long break, but I’m happy that my recovery period went well. I feel good and I’m happy that I was able to return to the pitch.

Of course, it was a long break for us—the employees of Wisła Kraków—but above all for the fans, because we missed you very much. How would you describe our team’s performance today? You can also compare us with GKS Katowice, who have played at the highest level of competition over the past two years.

I think we played really very well today—from the very beginning. We showed everyone that we’re a solid team. The most important thing was that it all started with good defensive play. With each minute, we grew in confidence on the ball and implemented our style of play better and better. It’s clear that we have many high-quality players, which means we can control the course of the match. Of course, not every match will look like this. There will be more difficult moments. GKS were also a demanding opponent today, and during certain periods of the match we had to suffer a little, especially after scoring the first goal. But we can truly be proud of the work we did.

You mentioned quality, so I’d like to ask about the quality in the stands. The stadium was packed, and you watched the match from the substitutes’ bench, so you could experience the atmosphere from a completely different perspective. How does that feel?

Incredible, truly incredible. When you’re on the pitch, you feel the energy coming from the stands. From the bench, though, you can observe it all even more. During the match, you’re focused on the game—you hear the support, but you concentrate on what’s happening on the pitch. When you’re sitting on the bench, you can simply watch the stands for a moment and enjoy the atmosphere. We’re very proud of our fans. I always thank them—even when I come onto the pitch. I hear them chanting my name, and it’s something incredible. I hope we’ll be able to give them many more reasons to celebrate and earn lots of points for them, because they truly deserve it.
