Wisła Kraków Training Center in Myślenice
Since January 1, 2014, Wisła Kraków footballers have been using the modern Training Center in Myślenice at ul. Zdrojowa 9. The facility provides comfortable conditions for training and regeneration.
Location
The Center is located in Myślenice, 30 km south of Krakow, in the "Sport Myślenice" complex in Zarabie – the tourist zone of the city. The infrastructure includes: a sports hall, pitches (including one artificial), tennis courts, a shooting range, a gym, a SPA, and sanitary and catering facilities. The surroundings of the Makowski Beskids and the Wieliczka Foothills provide ideal conditions for training and relaxation.
Establishment of the base
On June 24, 2013, Wisła Kraków signed an agreement with the City and Municipality of Myślenice and the "Sport Myślenice" company, securing the right to use the facility for 20 years. Construction began in July 2013, and its rapid pace allowed for the opening of the base on January 15, 2014.
Infrastructure
The Center includes two full-size pitches – one with heated turf and an artificial Duraspine Ultra 60 pitch. The reserve turf allows for quick replacement of damaged sections. The building (1000 m²) houses a gym, two changing rooms, rooms for coaches, a rehabilitation office, biological regeneration, a briefing room, a warehouse, a laundry room, and a shoe cleaning area. Thanks to this investment, Wisła Kraków has gained a modern, top-level training facility.
Who trains here
The oldest teams of the Academy train in Myślenice: the second team, U-19, and U-17. The juniors use the Sport Myślenice facilities, while the reserves use the main building, which they share with the first team. High school-aged players attend the Małopolska School of Hospitality located vis-à-vis. They are also accommodated there, in the dormitory.
Sports Championship School at ul. Szablowskiego 1 in Krakow
Opened on September 1, 2021, the Wisła Kraków Sports Championship School provides young footballers with harmonious development, combining education with training. It consists of a Non-public Primary School and, since 2022, the Tadeusz Łopuszański High School, one of Wisła Kraków's progenitors. The institution educates students in the spirit of Wisła's values and the club's over 115-year tradition.
The school is located in the building of the Building Schools Complex No. 1 in Krakow (ul. Szablowskiego 1) and includes sports classes: 7th and 8th grade of primary school and one high school class. Thanks to qualified staff, teaching is adapted to intensive training, enabling students to develop both athletically and academically. The school promotes an active lifestyle and prepares young people for functioning in society.
The final stage of training at the Academy are the teams that operate within the Non-public Tadeusz Łopuszański Sports Championship School: U-16, U-15, and U-14. Players are grouped at ul. Szablowskiego 1, where the school building is located, as well as its associated dormitory, where players from outside Krakow reside.
The facility is an integral part of the Wisła Kraków Football Academy, supervised by Jakub Błaszczykowski. In 2020, to strengthen youth training, Krzysztof Kołaczyk took over as Academy Director, initiating the establishment of the school. The managing body is the Wisła Kraków Foundation, founded by Tomasz Jażdżyński, Jakub Błaszczykowski, and Jarosław Królewski – members of the Supervisory Board of TS Wisła Kraków SA.
The school, supervised by the Małopolska Education Superintendent, offers comprehensive football training, constituting a key element in the development of future generations of Wisła players.
Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education in Krakow
On the pitch of the Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education at al. Jana Pawła II 78, the U-10, U-11, U-12, and U-13 teams train. League matches of other Krakow teams are also played here.
Jagiellonian University Pitch at ul. Piastowska 26 in Krakow
The grass pitch of the Jagiellonian University at ul. Piastowska 26 is the base for the Wisła Kraków Football Academy teams. Every Saturday, activities for the youngest football adepts are also held here as part of the Wisła Junior project.
R22 Restaurant at Synerise Arena
R22 — Meet, Watch & Eat is a club restaurant inside Synerise Arena, the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium. It combines Polish and European cuisine with a matchday atmosphere: large screens, club boxes, and interiors full of Wisła's history.
