All age groups of the Wisła Kraków Football Academy have already settled into the league rhythm and have played their first matches of the new season. In this summary, we take a look at the oldest Biała Gwiazda teams. Most of them train and hone their form every day at the base in Myślenice, although with one exception – the U15 team holds its daily training sessions conducts in Kraków. Let’s take a look at how the preparation period went for each age group. 

U15 

Preparations for the season began on 16 July. The team led by Adrian Kaczkowski travelled to Slovakia to take part in the Nitra Cup tournament. Kraków finished third, defeating Spartak Trnava 2–1 in the decisive match. 

On Wednesday, 22 July, just before leaving for their training camp, coach Kaczkowski’s players played a friendly against Raków Częstochowa, losing 0–1. The team then spent a week in Wola Chorzelowska. During the camp, it played two training matches, winning both—first defeating Beniaminek Krosno 4–1, and then Skra Częstochowa 5–1. 

From 6 to 9 August, another edition of the Grorud Invitational took place in Oslo—one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in Scandinavia. Two Biała Gwiazda teams (U14 and U15) took part, having the opportunity to face leading academies from Norway and Sweden, as well as renowned European clubs such as Athletic Bilbao, AIK, Brann, Vålerenga, Fredrikstad and Breiðablik. 

Such a strong lineup made the tournament an excellent test for the young players from Kraków against international opponents. The greatest success was achieved by the Wisła Kraków U15 team, which went through the entire tournament unbeaten and defeated Fredrikstad in the final to claim the trophy. The U14 team, facing equally demanding opponents, finished the competition in eighth place. 

After returning to the country, the team won its final friendly before the start of the league, defeating AM Cracovia 3–1 away.

U16 

The U16 team began their preparation period on 14 July in Myślenice. The first week included, among other things, fitness tests and a friendly against Resovia Rzeszów, which our team won 2–0. The next stage was a training camp in Barcice. There, Wisła played two friendlies: they comfortably defeated Sandecja Nowy Sącz 6–1, then three days later lost 1–2 to FK Košice. 

After returning from camp, coach Tyrka’s players played three more friendly matches: 

This season, the U16 team joined the Małopolska Junior League for Younger Players. They will face eight other teams in the competition, including Cracovia, Puszcza Niepołomice, Sandecja Nowy Sącz and Podhale Nowy Targ.

U17 

Before the Central Junior League competition began, the team coached by Krystian Żakowicz played four friendly matches. They won all of them and are maintaining their successful run in league competition as well. 

In their first summer friendly, Wisła comfortably defeated Resovia Rzeszów 3–0 in Myślenice. From 20–25 July, the players were at a training camp in Barcice, where—like the U16 team—they played two friendly matches. First, they demolished Sandecja Nowy Sącz 7–0, then proved better than FK Košice, winning 3–1. Before the league began, in their final test, Wisła defeated Stal Rzeszów 4–1. 

Currently, after four rounds of the CLJ U17, Wisła Kraków are second in the table with 10 points (three wins and one draw).

U19 

Players competing in the Central Junior League U19 have also completed an intensive preparation period. The team coached for league competition played five valuable friendly matches in July and early August, testing themselves both against senior teams and demanding peers. 

The summer friendlies began with a home match against Lubań Maniowy's senior team, ending in a narrow 1:2 defeat. The Kraków side then secured a convincing 2:0 victory over Raków Częstochowa. Although they lost 0:1 to FK Košice, their final two tests went their way—with 2:0 wins over Sandecja Nowy Sącz and away against Korona Kielce.

Wisła II Kraków 

For the White Star's reserve team, competing at the Betclic III League level, the summer preparation period was crucial for team integration and reaching optimal form. As part of their preparations, the reserves played six valuable friendly matches. 

Although preparations began with a defeat away to the higher-ranked Rekord Bielsko-Biała (2:4), the team quickly got back on track. Wins over NKP Podhale Nowy Targ (2:0) and LKS Goczałkowice-Zdrój in a goal-filled match (5:3) highlighted the team's attacking potential. After an away setback against Wieczysta's second team (0:2), Wisła responded emphatically, thrashing Dalin Myślenice 6:1 at home. Preparations concluded with a valuable away victory over Odra Opole (2:1).
