A strong finish for Biała Gwiazda! Alan Uryga scores to make it 1–1 in stoppage time
The 7th-round PKO BP Ekstraklasa clash between Korona Kielce and Wisła Kraków was incredibly thrilling. Although the hosts led for most of the match after a spectacular goal from debutant Ondřej Lingr, Wisła fought until the very end. In stoppage time, captain Alan Uryga secured a 1–1 draw for the White Star with a precise header.
The clash between Korona Kielce and Wisła Kraków in the 7th round of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa was an extremely thrilling affair. Although the hosts led for most of the match following a spectacular goal by debutant Ondřej Lingr, Wisła fought until the very end. In stoppage time, captain Alan Uryga secured a 1:1 draw for the White Star with a precise header.
The match was full of goalmouth action from the opening minutes. Slobodan Rubežić came close to opening the scoring in the 7th minute, but his header, after brushing Marcel Łubik's gloves, hit the crossbar. Jakub Krzyżanowski responded moments later, but Ksawier Dziekoński managed to parry his dangerous shot. In the 12th minute, after a powerful shot by Mariusz Stępiński was saved by the goalkeeper, the ball fell just outside the penalty area to Ondřej Lingr, who put Korona ahead with a superb first-time strike.
The hosts looked for more goals, but Morgan Fassbender and Stępiński squandered excellent chances, with their shots stopped by an in-form Łubik. Before halftime, Wisła responded with an inaccurate header from Élie Youan and a dangerous attempt by Julius Ertlthaler.
After the break, Wisła put greater pressure on Kielce's defense. In the 57th minute, the ball even found its way into Korona's net, but the referee disallowed Jordi Sánchez's goal for a foul on the goalkeeper. When it seemed that Korona would hold on to its narrow lead until the final whistle, Jordi Sánchez crossed into the penalty area in stoppage time, and Alan Uryga equalized with a header, securing a valuable point for the White Star at the last moment.
