Jakub Krzyżanowski summed up the draw in Szczecin, assessing the team’s performance and the level of the opponents on his side of the pitch.

Assessment of the result and the course of the match
Asked about the course of the game and the point earned on difficult ground, the defender replied: “I think we have to respect this point, although there is some disappointment. We had our chances—the shot by James late on, and then Bozo’s effort that hit the post. So there is definitely some disappointment, but all things considered, I think it was quite a good performance from us. There were a lot of transitions, so I think it was also an interesting spectacle for the average fan.”

Duels with the opposition wingers
Asked to compare the opponents on his side—Juwara, who scored, and Czurlinow—the player noted: “It’s difficult for me to say, because they were two different types of wingers. In the first half, the player was certainly very dynamic and very fast. With the goal after the transition, I feel I could have done more; I was a bit too far away from him, so I think I could have done more. Comparing the two, I think it’s difficult because they are simply two different types of players. Both showed good ability, and it was clear that they played really well.”

What was missing to win
Asked about the aspects that were missing to secure all three points, the player concluded: “In the second half, I felt there was a bit too little composure and ball retention. It was quite a scrappy game, and I felt that in the second half we could have kept the ball a bit more. Even so, we created a chance and had an opportunity to take three points away from Szczecin,” said the Wisła Kraków defender.
