Frederico Duarte is staying at R22 for the next few years! The Portuguese has extended his contract with Wisła Kraków until June 30, 2029, with an option to extend the partnership for another year. 

Duarte joined the White Star in the summer of 2024, moving to Kraków after five years with Greek club Panetolikos. Since then, he has made 79 official appearances for Wisła, scoring 16 goals. 

In his first season at R22, the Portuguese made 38 official appearances and scored six goals. A year later, he was already an important part of the team that secured promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. In the 2025/2026 season, he scored 10 goals in league competitions. One of Duarte's most memorable performances was the match against ŁKS Łódź at R22, which ended in a 5:0 Wisła victory, with the Portuguese scoring three times. 

This season, Duarte made his debut with the White Star in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa and has so far made six appearances in the top division. 

The previous contract of the 27-year-old player ran until June 30, 2027. Now Wisła Kraków and Frederico Duarte have decided to continue working together for much longer. The Portuguese player's new contract will run until June 30, 2029, with an option to extend it for another year.
