We are pleased to announce that the Wisła Kraków Football Academy is moving on to the next stage of cooperation with the Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education in Kraków. 

Took place today Another meeting of representatives of both institutions took place, during which the key organizational matters related to the launch of the “Talent Gene” project were discussed. The initiative will begin as early as October and will be carried out at our Academy in cooperation with the University of Physical Education's scientific team. 

The “Talent Gene” project is an interdisciplinary research initiative focused on identifying young footballers' predispositions and supporting their informed and safe sporting development. It combines motor, physiological, and biochemical assessments, aiming to better understand the players' individual capabilities, help select appropriate training loads, monitor development, and reduce the risk of overuse injuries and other injuries. 

The Wisła Kraków Football Academy was represented at the meeting by Academy Director Michał Jania and Academy coach and scout Jacek Słowik, who will coordinate the project activities on behalf of our Academy. 

Jacek Słowik is a graduate of the Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education in Kraków. In addition to working at Wisła Kraków, he is also involved in academic research, providing an additional link between the Academy's coaching environment and the University of Physical Education's scientific facilities. 

We believe that cooperation with the University of Physical Education will be another important step in the development of our Academy. We want to use modern knowledge and diagnostic tools to support players even more effectively in their daily training, development, and football journey.
