The opening half-hour belonged to the visiting team. Koulouris produced a dangerous shot that Marcel Łubik tipped onto the crossbar. Wisła struggled to play the ball out of their own half. After a difficult spell, the hosts began to threaten Nikola Cavlina’s goal, creating good chances through moves involving Jordi Sánchez, Élie Youan and Julius Ertlthaler.
Biała Gwiazda came out strongly for the second half and deservedly took the lead in the 54th minute through Jordi Sánchez. It was already the Spanish striker’s sixth goal of the season. After the goal, the visitors created a few isolated chances, while Wisła controlled the course of the match. In the 78th minute, Nikola Cavlina passed the ball straight to Ángelo Rodado, but the Spaniard failed to take advantage of the goalkeeper’s mistake. Moments later, Jérémy Guillemenot scored a superb long-range goal to make it 2–0.
