Play the Champions Chess Tour
On April 19, the #ChampionsMatch, the hit of the spring round of Betclic 1 Liga, will take place at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium in Chorzów. But before the players of the Blues and the White Star run out onto the pitch, ... chess players will compete! Therefore, we are announcing recruitment for the Wisła team!
At the initiative of the Mayor of Chorzów, Szymon Michałek, the Ruch vs. Wisła chess match will be played at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium on April 19 in the afternoon. Each team will consist of 20 players. Participants will play two rapid chess games (time control: 10 minutes + 5 seconds per move). In case of a draw after two games, the team that accumulated more small points on individual boards wins. If the sum of points is equal, then Armageddon, a "one-on-one" game, decides the winner.
The match will be played on 20 boards. Players with the highest categories and chess ratings will play on the first boards. The current FIDE rules and the PZSzach chess code will apply to the competition. An international arbiter will supervise the smooth running of the games.
