Wisła Kraków had to accept Legia Warszawa's superiority in the away league match, losing 0:2. Biała Gwiazda fought for a positive result, but the hosts proved more clinical.
The match began with both sides sizing each other up, but as the minutes passed, the hosts took the initiative. In the 18th minute, Legia took the lead through Łukasz Zjawiński, who capitalised on a moment of inattention in the Kraków defence to open the scoring. Mariusz Jop's players tried to respond - Marko Božič struck a dangerous long-range shot, but the hosts' defence and Legia's goalkeeper remained alert.
Coach Mariusz Jop tried to turn the match around by making substitutions. Julian Lelieveld, Rafał Mikulec and Victor Meseguer came onto the pitch, followed late on by Oliwier Pławiński. Wisła looked for opportunities in attack, trying to break through Legia's tight defence, but they lacked clear chances in front of the opponents' goal, and inaccuracies crept into the Kraków side's play.
In the 70th minute, the hosts struck again. After Biała Gwiazda made an error while playing the ball out, Legia's quick attack was finished by Rafał Adamski, extending the lead to 2:0. Despite their efforts until the very end, Wisła were unable to turn the match around. In the closing stages, the hosts had further chances to increase their lead, but Marcel Łubik made excellent saves to spare his team a heavier defeat.
