- Congratulations to the team. I think it was an interesting match with a lot of emotions. There were moments when the game was open from both sides. I think the beginning favored the opponent, those first 10-15 minutes, we created some chances for them after turnovers, and the opponent created situations from transitional phases, where Marcel did great in one such situation. Later, we organized our play a bit, especially the second half was very good for us - we pressed high, we cornered the opponent in their penalty area. It's a shame that the third goal was disallowed, because it would certainly have been easier for us to control the match. In the final phase, in my opinion, we retreated a bit too quickly and too deep. We didn't capitalize enough on moments when we won the ball after low defense; there was a bit too much nervousness and too many turnovers when we could have exploited the fact that the opponent attacked much more aggressively.

- To sum up, we are very happy with the victory. The first match is always a kind of unknown. I think it was a good spectacle. We gave ourselves and the fans a lot of positive emotions, so once again, congratulations to the team and congratulations to the fans for their great support. It was truly an event today.

- Congratulations to Wisła on their first victory in Ekstraklasa after returning to it. A big event in the stands, impressive. I also thank our fans very much for fitting in so well and for their excellent support. It's important that fans can appreciate each other in this way despite various animosities, but it seems to me that this is how it should look. Huge congratulations to both fan communities.

- As for the match - it's understandable that at the beginning of the season, the shorter, the better, because for now there's no need to make any lofty statements. I believe that we could have unquestionably gotten more out of this match. We played in the way we intended, the first half exactly as I wanted. I was looking for opportunities to score goals. Those chances were there, and I thought they would get closer, but in the second half, unfortunately, it happened to us again, because in the first cup match, we also conceded a quick goal after the break. We cannot act today in such a way that the penalty kick awarded, we have nothing to defend against it, we simply should not behave like that in the penalty area, and the second goal, when there is one Wisła player in the penalty area, and my three defenders are supposed to occupy reference points, they should have saved that situation ten out of ten times. Hence, there is a lot of football anger in me and certainly a desire to get back to work hard again from tomorrow and take responsibility within the changing room for every mistake we make, for every oversight, because here we are talking about conceded goals, but also the situations we had near Wisła's goal. We could have also converted them into goals and it could have been completely different.
