Friday, December 1st brings another league match. This time, Wisła players will play in Nieciecza against Bruk-Bet Termalica. We invite you to the press conference transcript with coach Radosław Sobolewski.

Medical report:

- Michał Żyro - rehabilitating after knee surgery;
- David Junca - rehabilitation for ankle joint injury ongoing;
- Goku - hamstring injury;
- Igor Łasicki has a cold, and Jakub Krzyżanowski has gastric problems.

Joseph Colley will not play due to yellow cards.

Ángel Rodado, who had an ankle joint problem, is recovering. "Angel fought very hard to return to health as quickly as possible. The diagnosis predicted longer treatment, but now it looks really very good. Angel has been training with the team for the entire microcycle at full intensity, and I can reveal that he will be in the matchday squad. Angel is one hundred percent ready. The boys tested him very hard in training. His leg held up, and that's certainly pleasing, so he feels confident. He's eager to play and shows a really strong character. I see how much he wants to help the team in this final part of the year," he began.

Joseph Colley is suspended due to yellow cards. Who can be expected in his place? "Everything naturally fell into place here, and I'm now expecting Eneko to play for Colley. He is the choice," he said. When asked if Dawid Szot would again take his place on the left side of the defense, the coach replied: "As for personnel, it's only Wednesday, but I don't think we'll overcomplicate things regarding the defensive line, and the room for maneuver is also limited by illnesses and ailments."

Goku is also struggling with health complications after the match against GKS Katowice. "We are doing everything to make sure Goku is ready and 100% fit for this match, but at the moment, I cannot share positive news. For now, he is not yet 100% ready, so we are working day by day. We are observing how his body reacts. We will know more on Thursday. Tomorrow, the decision will be made on who will travel for the match in Nieciecza," he added.

“Of course, everyone knows how I view football. I’m more in favor of controlling the ball through possession. However, you can’t accuse me of being one-dimensional, because it wasn’t the first match where we tried to draw the opponent out of their half to create space behind their defensive line. Also, in the first half, Alvaro Raton, you could say, used direct, longer passes several times. We looked for the left side, where Sobczak and Goku were supposed to drop. It’s certainly easier for us to score goals when we have more space. It’s harder for us to be effective if the opposing team sets up in a low block with ten players in their penalty area. Then it’s difficult for us to put the ball into the net, but even then, when the opponent defends deep, we create chances. The only issue is keeping a cool head when finishing and hitting the target. We’ll see how Nieciecza plays. We will be looking for solutions for different phases of the game, for different moments of the game, because it's known that matches usually have different phases, and we must be prepared for each of them,” he analyzed.

The rivalry with GKS Katowice can help Wisła players strengthen their mentality even more. "I keep instilling in the team that we must play until the end. A Wisła player must show top-level mentality in this aspect. I am very happy that we managed to turn the tide of the match in our favor in the final minutes. You could say that it was actually the first match where luck was on our side. This makes me happy, but I want to repeat it, because there were so many draws that we had at home, which are burdensome for me and my team. In those matches, we played really well, we created chances. We lacked the finish, the final touch, the victory. I am glad that we succeeded in the end, and such a victory, literally snatched in the last seconds of the match when most people stopped believing in it, is certainly a very important moment for the team. I hope this will be an impulse where our self-confidence and what we do will be at an even higher level," he noted.

The team from Nieciecza had two fewer days to prepare for Friday's clash. What impact could this have on the Bruk-Bet players? "I'll start from the end. A Monday-Friday microcycle is enough time to regenerate properly. As for such losses, they certainly remain in the subconscious. However, I wouldn't look at such things, because I know that the Nieciecza team will be maximally motivated for the match against Wisła Kraków," he said.

What are – in the coach's opinion – the strengths of the home team? "The team from Nieciecza feels better in attack. The number of goals scored proves this, as they have the most in the league right after us. Also, the number of crosses and progressive passes is high. In terms of the attacking phase, this team looks really good and is dangerous for everyone in this league. However, they have their problems, but I'll keep that to myself," concluded coach Radosław Sobolewski.
