The Wisła Kraków Football Academy teams have entered the preparation phase for the spring round, and significant changes were made to the coaching staffs just before training began. At the Kraków club, fitness coach Kamil Kozłowski and goalkeeper coach Szymon Kołodziejczuk have started work, and they will be responsible for the U-17 and U-19 players on a daily basis.
The changes mainly affected the Myślenice-based teams competing in the Central Junior League, with the first being the addition of Szymon Kołodziejczuk to the coaching staff. For the past two and a half years, he served as the goalkeeper coach for Hutnik Kraków U-17. Already possessing considerable experience working with young goalkeepers, the coach will be responsible for conducting goalkeeper training sessions for Wisła’s U-17 and U-19 teams. His guidance and knowledge are expected to provide important support for players dreaming of appearing for the first team of the White Star.
Kamil Kozłowski has also joined the U-17 team staff, taking on the role of fitness coach and replacing Mateusz Fortuna in that position. For nearly five years, the coach worked with third-tier side Wiślanie Skawina, where he was responsible for the players’ physical development. At Wisła Kraków, his role will be to monitor fitness levels and ensure the young players are properly prepared physically, with the aim of improving their effectiveness on the pitch.
Welcome aboard, and good luck!
