Wisła Kraków secures more points in the First League competition. This time, the team led by coach Mariusz Jop faced Wieczysta Kraków. The clash between the two teams from the capital of Lesser Poland ended in a draw. After the game, we spoke with the White Star midfielder, Maciej Kuziemka.

The Wisła Kraków player did not hide his disappointment with the final result, despite respecting the point gained. "It's obvious that we feel a great sense of dissatisfaction after this match, because the statistics confirm that we dominated. Each of us would like to get three points, but we are happy to have earned one point. Kudos to the team, because in another match we show that we can score goals in the final minutes, but I believe we deserve a victory," Kuziemka began.

In the second half of the match, Wisła Kraków clearly took the initiative, and if they had been more effective, they could have clinched all three points. "The nature of the second half also depended on how Wieczysta played. I had the impression that they were more concerned with holding onto their lead, while we played our game. We knew what we wanted to do, to play with passes," he noted.

Wisła Kraków will play three matches in one week. They face Ruch Chorzów this coming Sunday. How do the players from Wawel approach such intensity? "I believe we are well prepared, we feel good. Three matches in a week is never easy, and the body feels it, but the staff pays attention to this, and each player knows how important regeneration is during such a period, and we take care of it," the midfielder assured.

The match against Wieczysta Kraków was a kind of Kraków derby. Do players prepare for such games somewhat differently? "We approached this match like any other. Perhaps there was a greater tension in the air, the atmosphere around it, but we want to prepare for every match the same way, and there were no novelties regarding this match," said the Wisła player.

The young White Star player had the opportunity to play against Michał Pazdan in Thursday's match. "Certainly, playing against Michał Pazdan is a great feeling. I remember watching him on TV when he played for the national team. But I didn't act any differently on the pitch just because he was there," he concluded.
