Conference after #PIAWIS

- We conceded goals too easily. I don't recall us conceding so many goals in a league match. This is something we definitely need to improve - emphasized coach Mariusz Jop after the match in Gliwice.

Mariusz Jop, Wisła coach:

- We started this match very poorly. The first 20 minutes – a lot of turnovers in transition phases, we had many problems with high pressing. Later, we corrected a few things and it got better. The team certainly deserves praise, because in a 0-2 situation, it was a good reaction. I think that in the second half, for large parts, we showed what we are capable of – we were very dangerous in attack, created many chances, although we certainly conceded goals too easily. I don't remember conceding so many goals in a league match. This is something we definitely need to improve. The second half, in terms of offensive actions, was at a good level. Congratulations to Piast on the victory. We must quickly shake off this defeat and prepare for the next match.

Daniel Myśliwiec, Piast coach:

- What can I say that would even slightly reflect what happened? In short: we got lucky. Firstly, the atmosphere was such that the players could literally get cooked, but ultimately we got lucky looking at the result. No matter how you look at it, no matter what happened, just like last week many good things, but in the end a defeat, and now many - to say many is an understatement - very, very many good things, but it's as if we "challenged" ourselves to do almost as many bad things. Ultimately we got lucky in the sense that it's about the result, simply. Great respect for the players for holding on, for believing. Our goal and the goal of our work was to do everything to attack as best as possible, to deliver the ball faster. The number of chances was truly impressive, and I don't understand how we could have messed it up, or tried to mess it up. I put it down to emotions a bit, because I also really wanted us to win the first home match, because I had a feeling that more than ever we needed this victory, especially since we haven't had the opportunity to play and win here for a long time. I put it down to emotions in the sense that I, too, wanted my decisions to be uncompromising, black and white, and perhaps then, when you really, really want to win, to perform well, maybe it's still worth staying calm beforehand and then I wouldn't have heated up the match like that either. I am very happy that 3 points stay at Okrzei and we can use this for advertising, that it is indeed worth coming to our stadium.
