Jordi Sanchez after #WISWPŁ: With our fans and the people in the stands, we feel as if we're playing with twelve men
Jordi Sánchez once again found the back of the net and helped Wisła Kraków secure all three points. After the match against Wisła Płock, the White Star striker spoke about his effectiveness, the difficult course of the game, the importance of victories at Reymonta, and the exceptional support from the stands. "It was a difficult match, but in the end everything worked out well. I think I did many things very well, but ultimately a striker is judged by his goals. Now I have a bit of luck and am scoring goals with the help of the whole team. My teammates often look for me, and that is why I score goals: they find me in good positions. I simply want to keep it going," said Jordi Sanchez after the match against Wisła Płock.
A difficult second half.
Friday’s match brought the fans plenty of emotions and twists. In the end, Wisła from Kraków tipped the scales in their favor and claimed all three points.
"I think we ran a lot and fought until the very end. That is why we won three points. However, our opponents have more experience in the Ekstraklasa than we do. With a full stadium, our fans and people in the stands, we feel as if we are playing with twelve men. That is our strength here at home, so we have to make use of it," he said, praising the White Star fans.

"Amazing. I simply want to say thank you. It is very important to us, because in the Ekstraklasa every match will be as closely contested as this one, and often one goal will decide the outcome. We know that we can score a lot of goals, but the other teams also have great potential. They have very good strikers and attacking players, so we have to be careful. With a full stadium and our fans, as I said, we will play with twelve men until the end. That will be very helpful to us," Jordi said.
The importance of winning in front of our home fans.
"It is crucial. If we look at the best leagues, teams that win at home find it much easier to stay in the league or maintain good form until the end of the season. We will try to do that week after week," he insisted.
"Now, however, we have two away matches, and we want to fight there as well. Last week we played against a good opponent in very difficult weather conditions and fought until the end, but ultimately we were unable to earn three points. In the next match against Górnik Zabrze, we will try to do it," concluded Jordi Sanchez, the scorer of one of the goals.
