On June 13-14, the last round of the Blind Football League 2026 was played at the Rekord Sports Center facilities. Biała Gwiazda BF did not disappoint and won its third league gold. Coach Rafał Kurlit's team won all eight matches, scoring 31 goals and conceding only one. 

"I am very proud of the guys. I am happy that the team adapted so quickly to the changes in our training and, most importantly, in matches, which brought the expected results, and which was not obvious. Before the start of this season, very significant changes occurred in the staff, which I had the honor to lead, and which the team trusted. I can only thank them for that and congratulate them on the outcome of another great success," says Rafał Kurlit, who took the helm just before the start of the 2026 season. 

Wisła BF entered the last round with a five-point lead over second-placed Śląsk BF, who had to play a flawless tournament to fight for gold, while we were scoring less. The chance to seal the title came unexpectedly, as the team from Wrocław stumbled, drawing 1-1 with Warta Poznań BF, who were relegated from the league. This result meant that Wisła only needed a win in the first match of the third round to secure the triumph. 

The ARTS Blind Football Warsaw team defended their goal from the very beginning, resulting in a goalless draw at halftime. A few minutes after the break, Martin Jung opened the scoring against the opponents, who were forced to play more offensively. One such offensive play was perfectly countered by Krzysztof Suchocki, who scored his fifth goal, sealing a 2-0 victory and simultaneously the championship title in the 2026 season. 

"When I joined Wisła, I jokingly told the guys it was a risky transfer, as I usually bring more bad luck than good. I'm glad that 'curse' has been broken, and I had a real chance to contribute to the team's third title, and my first in new colors. Now it's time to celebrate a bit, because we've put in a lot of hard work," adds Krzysztof Suchocki, who joined the team before the season, transferring from Śląsk BF. 

In the second Saturday match, the Biała Gwiazda BF team faced Rekord Bielsko-Biała Blind Football, who were fighting for the league bronze. The first match ended 6-0 – this time, half as many goals were scored, but the result itself was even more satisfying, as Kacper Domagała scored two of the three goals, deserving them like no one else this season. Martin Jung also appeared on the scoresheet, which should not surprise anyone. 

"This was, contrary to appearances, a difficult match, because after the morning's decisions, we found ourselves in the position of students who had already received their grades but still had to go to school. However, everything went according to plan, although we were a bit short of a perfect match. But there's no point complaining, only looking for positives, and such were undoubtedly the returns of injured players to the field," adds Kacper Domagała, the player chosen as the best player of the league in the 2026 season after the competition. 

Mateusz Krzyszkowski, Marcin Pajor, and Krzysztof Bednarkiewicz were players who, at the last minute, received the green light to play and could be recorded in the match protocols, thereby contributing their part to the third title. 

"Achilles tendonitis, a very serious ankle sprain, and a complete Achilles tendon rupture – these injuries sidelined Mateusz, Marcin, and Krzysiek for almost the entire season. The guys raced against time to get a chance to play, even for a few minutes, and we are happy that they succeeded. We hope that now they will be able to calmly work through the preparation period before the second half of the season and become a greater support for the team," emphasizes Marek Żychowski, the section's head physiotherapist. 

On Sunday at 9:30 AM, the first whistle blew for a match that would normally have been a hit, but the question of first and second place in the Blind Football League 2026 was settled on Saturday. This did not change the fact that the match against Śląsk Wrocław Blind Football was electrifying, and its course and final result provided a fantastic culmination of the competition for our section. 

The match started very unluckily, as after a few minutes of play, the scoreboard showed 0-1 after a goal by Michał Małachowski. This was the first conceded goal in the league, which also turned out to be the detonator for the explosive player wearing number 10 and the name Jung on his jersey. Although the entire team worked, it's hard not to say that Martin single-handedly decided the match against the Soldiers. First, he equalized, then he gave them a 2-1 lead from a penalty kick awarded after a goalkeeper error, and nine seconds before halftime, he increased it to 3-1, completing a hat-trick. After the break, he added another brace with two solo runs, setting the final score at 5-1. 

"None of us expected such a match to end the season, but this victory is more pleasing than some 2-0 or even 4-0. Despite initial distraction and problems with the opponent's forward, we were able to shake it off and achieve a historic comeback. It so happened that the ball only went into the net from my shots in this match, but the rest of the guys also had their chances," explains the league's top scorer, Martin Jung, whose goal tally at the end of the season stood at eighteen. 

It is worth noting here that if no proverbial "gremlins" crept into the quickly calculated statistics, then Martin's goals in the match against Śląsk Wrocław BF were goals that broke the barrier of fifty league goals for Jung in Wisła's colors, as well as the barrier of one hundred league goals for the entire team. 

In addition to the league gold, which was the result of many months of work by the entire team, Jung and Domagała, already mentioned, were awarded individual distinctions. Martin won the top scorer's crown and was also chosen as the best player of the section in the 2026 season, and Kacper, by votes of coaches and referees, was chosen as the best player of the past league competition. 

"This was a very specific, very demanding, and very successfully concluded season for us. I am glad that despite such a rich history, none of us rests on our laurels and simply wants more in terms of sport. Ahead of us is the holiday period, during which we will want to recharge our batteries to continue working hard, because in reality, it's only halfway through the year, and we still have something to win," concludes Marcin Ryszka, captain.
